Join Harmonic Journeys near the Great Lake Erie for a spiritual, day-into-night, communal, pot-luck celebration of the Monday, April 8 Solar Eclipse. 

We will meet at noon at Harmonic Journeys. We’ll begin with a hands-on activity to create a Despacho (prayer bundle) to welcome the sun, followed by a 15-minute walk to Lake Erie for prime eclipse viewing. (weather permitting.) 

We’ll return to Harmonic Journeys for an afternoon bonfire and potluck dinner (please bring a dish to share). We’ll finish with a special New Moon Ceremony with psychic Mary T. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Love donations are accepted and appreciated. please give what you can. Suggested donation of $5-$60. All are welcome and no one turned away for lack of funds.

NOTE: Please bring your own pair of solar eclipse protective eyewear. We are not responsible for injury if you do not wear proper protection while viewing the eclipse.

In-person at Harmonic Journeys, 1292 Summit Avenue, Lakewood, 44107. Additional parking at the corner of Clifton and Summit at Lincoln Elementary School (about ten houses down the street). Outside if weather permits. Enjoy the garden, meet the chickens, and visit the fish pond.

Detailed Schedule;

12:00pm - 12:15pm -- Arrivals and Introductions 12:15pm - 2:15pm Hands-on Activity: We’ll Create Our Own Group Despacho (Pronounced ’Despacio’) It’s a Shamanic Prayer Bundle to Welcome the Energy of the Sun. Led and Facilitated by Mary Lee Boesewetter, OTR/L, Reiki Master and Facilitator of Self-Healing. 2:15pm - 2:30pm -- Break 2:30pm Sharp -- Our group will leave Harmonic Journeys for a 15-minute walk to Lake Erie’s shoreline vista (weather permitting) to view the solar ECLIPSE. Bring your own eclipse glasses, we may have a small number of them to sell at cost, but they are running out fast. It is NOT recommended to look at the eclipse without special eclipse glasses! 3:15pm -- Prime Viewing of Maximum Eclipse Totality 3:30pm -- Return walk to Harmonic Journeys and Break 4:00pm -- Bonfire (weather permitting) Participants have the opportunity to burn the Despacho creation and offer their prayers, songs, and intentions to the Divine, the Sun, Universe, God, Goddess, Spirit, Earth, or higher power of choice. 4:30pm – 6:00pm -- Enjoy a Potluck Supper with Likeminded Friends 6:00pm – 8:00pm -- Join Our Special New Moon Ceremony with Harmonic Journeys’ Psychic Mary T.  (For regular Moon class attendees, please note the earlier time).
