There are two New Moons in April! Since February is a short month, and moon cycles happen about every 29 ½ days, in the Eastern Standard Time Zone we have a second New Moon April 29. The second new moon is a single calendar month is sometimes also referred to as a Black Moon.
Science knows the moon’s strong gravitational pull causes the changing tides in the earth’s bodies of water. Human bodies are made up of about 60% water. Many believe the moon also has some control over our bodies and emotions. A New Noon may calm us, make it easier to sleep, and increase our energy.
