Full Strawberry Moon Ceremony

In North America, the harvesting of strawberries in June gives June's Full Moon its name. Europeans have dubbed it the Rose Moon, while other cultures named it the Hot Moon for the beginning of the summer heat.

Science knows the moon’s strong gravitational pull causes the changing tides in the earth’s bodies of water. Human bodies are about 60% water. Many believe the moon also has some control over our bodies and emotions. A Full Moon can make us feel overwhelmed and emotional and make it difficult to sleep.

 

In-person at Harmonic Journeys, 1292 Summit Avenue, Lakewood, 44107. Additional parking at the corner of Clifton and Summit at Lincoln Elementary School (about ten houses down the street). Outside if weather permits. Enjoy the garden, meet the chickens, and visit the fish pond.
