About The Event

Male deer shed their antlers every year and begin to regrow them in July; hence, Full Buck Moon is the Native American name for July's full moon. Some refer to this moon as the Thunder Moon due to the month’s summer storms. Other names include the Hay Moon, after the July hay harvest.
Science knows the moon’s strong gravitational pull causes the changing tides in the earth’s bodies of water. Human bodies are about 60% water. Many believe the moon also has some control over our bodies and emotions. A Full Moon can make us feel overwhelmed and emotional and make sleeping difficult.
In-person at Harmonic Journeys, 1292 Summit Avenue, Lakewood, 44107. Additional parking at the corner of Clifton and Summit at Lincoln Elementary School (about ten houses down the street). Outside if weather permits. Enjoy the garden, meet the chickens, and visit the fish pond.
