Full Beaver Moon Ceremony

The origin of November’s name, The Full Beaver Moon, is unknown. Some say it is because Native Americans set beaver traps this month, while others say the name comes from the heavy activity of beavers building their winter dams. Another name is the Frost Moon.

Science knows the moon’s strong gravitational pull causes the changing tides in the earth’s bodies of water. Human bodies are about 60% water. Many believe the moon also has some control over our bodies and emotions. A Full Moon can make us feel overwhelmed and emotional and make sleeping difficult.

In-person at Harmonic Journeys, 1292 Summit Avenue, Lakewood, 44107. Additional parking at the corner of Clifton and Summit at Lincoln Elementary School (about ten houses down the street). Outside if weather permits. Enjoy the garden, meet the chickens, and visit the fish pond.

Suggested Love Offering of $10 to $20.  Payment will reserve your space. Often, the number of reservations determines if an event will be held. Thus, payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event.
